I enjoy a sony DVD Writer. All of a sudden it stopped detecting any kind of Cd's. I flashed it firmware,updated its drivers but to not avail. There is no problem surrounded by Read/write for DVD's. Plz help!!
DVD can't read Cd's?
To me, it sounds resembling optical reader for the CD's right now. Are you trying to read burned CD's or what? It could be the laser.
Probably merely made to read DVD's. Many are made that way.
