External Speakers Audio freshly dropped for no purpose.?

I be in the middle of my computer hobby when much to my dismay the audio dropped. I wasn't fiddling with wires or touching anything but the Keyboard and mouse. I tried unplugging them and replugging them within but that didn't seem to work. The volume is turned up and they construct a staticy noise when i rub the plug against the hole. I have done this once before and come back but we have to mess around with them and other speakers. Does anyone know what I can do?

External Speakers Audio freshly dropped for no purpose.?

First rotten, you need to zone contained by on the problem.

SPEAKERS:

Find a spare pc somewhere or an ipod/boombox/etc and see if your speakers work by plugging them into the headset jacks.

If the speakers don't work, then you've found the problem.

If the speakers *do* work, afterwards the problem is either your operating system or the nouns card. This is a lot trickier to determine.

OPERATING SYSTEM:

First, look at your Operating system settings. Go to CONTROL PANEL=>SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES. You should be within the VOLUME tab by default.

-Click the "Advanced" button surrounded by "Device Volume" and make sure everything looks conventional.

-Click the "Speaker Volume" button in "Speaker Settings" to brand name sure everything looks normal.

SOUND CARD:

At that point, if everything looks run of the mill, then it is deeply likely your nouns card that is the problem. I recommend you buy/borrow a nouns card somewhere and test to see if it works.

Good luck!
