Fiber optic cable (for DSL internet) repair?

Okay, so necessarily I was mowing... that's adjectives you need to know <_<

My dad say he can fix it. But he hasn't yet, and I be wondering if this is something that I would be able to repair short any special tools or anything, maybe a tutorial or something...

Fiber optic cable (for DSL internet) repair?

If he cut a fiber cable, he won't be capable of repair it. Call the company.
dsl is owned by your telephone company it isn't a righteous idea to repair this your self because after you can get hamper charges should the telephone company find out...
Ummm... no.

Fiberoptic repair is VERY complicated. Unless you dad have had training it, I doubt he will be capable of fix it.

You need unbelievably special and expensive tools.

The US Army Fiber Optic Splicing and Repair course is 6 weeks long alone. That's going to school 8hrs a time, 5 days a week. on the same class.
Call your ISP.

NOW!
If this is your own cable, you will necessitate special tools to repair/splice the cable. Most people will vote splices are not dependable - just replace it.

If it is your ISP's splash, they are idiots for laying it contained by an unprotected manner.
A Fiber Optic Cable when undermined, requires special equipment to repair. It might be more pactical to have it replaced than phone call a specialist to repair it.

Fiber Optics does not carry electrical signals but wispy.

But DSL providers rarely use fiber optic cable for residential clients, they solely use that for corporate customers.

Check if your DSL line is fiber optic or regular copper lead.
