Explain the principal system components of a PC including input/output devices?

As a concept of Generation 1st computer , it consist of thousands of vacume tubes . In the second generation computer, first modern computer approach is included. Here we use a generalized concept, such as within are mainly three components exists contained by a digital computer system.They are input, output and central system.

Input/Output are of late peripheral components.They are also divided into two blocks,complicated and soft.Hard is the type of components, that take or produce sturdy copy such as tape[input],printer[output],sc... etc.Soft is the type of that components that take or produce soft copy such as keyboard[input],monitor[output...



The crucial system is consist of three components --- memory, ALU[arithmetic-logical unit] and timer[clock]. All these are interconnected with buses. The memory is consist of registers which made beside flip/flops.ALU performs adjectives basic operation and timer synchronized all behaviour.
