Finding the see adapter?

I hold a windows XP and my web adapter deosn't show up in the Device checker list. Yet, i can still connet to dial-up internet, but not to the large speed internet. How can i make the make friends adapter show up on the list?

If you know the dub of your adapter, go to www.driverguide.com and dl the most modern driver for it . restart or do a search for it and when it finds it,click on enjoy disk,point it to where the driver be dl'ed to. Itshould find and install the lastet driver and you should be good to jump.



Also, make sure your highspeed software is installed . Sometimes it will update adapters and install what ya want as well or point ya to the site you call for to go to seize it.
