when i put a disk into my cd rewriter, a team game for instance the drive reads it and read it really fast within speed at one second and slowly at the other time.is there a mode to set the drive at the same speed adjectives the time and how can you do this

All optical drives do that. They speed up as they read data into memory and afterwards "idle" between data read to save spirit and extend the life of the drive. It's kinda resembling when you drive a car you furnish it gas when needed, but when you come to a stop light the engine will vacant.

is the cd you are using a adjectives cd, if slow youre burner speed is prob different from the game cd.
