idk about anti-virus

but the firewall that comes beside xp is satisfactory
Try ashampoo or comando both at www.download.com for anti virus use avg also at download.com
i used clamwin and sygate personal filewall, yahoo them :)
I've found Kerio personal firewall is pretty appropriate...

AVG is good for a while for free but Macafee seem to be about the best.
Use the free text of ZoneAlarm. ZoneAlarm does a much better job restricting mean programs from accessing the Internet. The XP firewall let programs have a free outdo out of the firewall.
