ESC KT-600A + SATA trouble?

I want to replace my IDE harddrive near my SATA one. Only I can't find the motherboard manual. So the situation is, when I lug out the IDE, insert the SATA and new xp cd and turn the computer on, it doesn't read the complex drive at all. Thus preventing me from installing xp on it.



The thorny drive is a "Western Digital 160GB SATA". The mother board is an ESC KT-600A. But like I said, I lost the instruction manual. So any links to an online manual would be appreciated as much as a solution. Thanks
