Best place on the pattern for help on stuff close to this, they have training video, tips, etc. and also have a really accurate forum where you can ask question and get well brought-up answers from tech people instead of a bunch of wiseguys close to here.

Good luck!
Put blank dvd in drive. Cancel when the dialog pops up asking what you want to do. Open Nero. Select Data DVD. The program will clear a 2 pane window. The right side will own the folders on the computer. The left is the dvd's folders. Navigate to the folder you hold your movies in and drag and drop them over to the gone pane. Select done, follow Nero through the next page (dvd name, drive dvd disc is surrounded by, etc.) and it will burn the files to the dvd. You can then survey the movies in any computer dvd drive. Note that if your intention is to examine them on your home dvd/tv, thats an entirely different story.
You need dvd shrink, download it free, you enjoy to shrink it back it up and burn it.
