my dvd rw wont text mpeg footage or any video.i only used it succesfully once but since afterwards nothing!the green lead dont flash like it should when it should be burning to a disc even though my laptop says it is burning.it plays and burns cd and plays dvd but apart from the one time it wont burn video.any concept?

Format it, then burn.
You call for to format it and then burn it!
