Dvd rw wont work?

I enjoy a dvd rw drive and it will read cds and cdrws but it wont read and type of dvd. Im using nero dvd software but it just wont read the dvds. Im pretty shure everything is hooked up right. Plz Help me

1st- kind sure you have loaded the correct drivers your DVD RW

2nd- Make sure that the software you hold downloaded goes next to your Operating system. Example, if you downloaded nero for windows XP and you are running ME it wont work right.



Remember 9 out of 10 times when a piece of hardware does not work correctly its a driver issue. All you stipulation to do is install the original software you get with the DVD player and that should work. If you cant find the ingenious piece of software then progress to the manufacturers website and force out for software updates and that should lead you to the driver updates. Just look for the brand/type/model DVD you own and download the drivers for it. They should self install. Make sure you reboot after installing.
