Duel or Quad?

AMD AthlonTM64 Quad-FX70 CPU is this proccesor better and faster for gaming next this one AMD AthlonTM64 FX 62 Dual-Core.

The quad one runs at 2.6Ghz and the duels run at 2.8Ghz

Duel or Quad?

It depends on the application. Most game right in a minute doesn't support quad core yet. It'll be better if you spend the money for a better graphics card fairly than the processor. If you're doing a lot of video editing, CAD designing, etc, consequently you might want a Quad processor because its computing power is better for those programs. Gaming depends more on the graphics card. Sometimes, the dual core can even beat quad core on gaming.

The quad have 4 cores and dual has 2 cores. Quad can run four programs simultaneously lacking making things slow at the speed of 2.6 Ghz. While the dual will run 2 programs at the same time at 2.8 Ghz.

So, specifically Quad will give you better gaming experience.
