go here http://www.driveragent.com.
It's $29.95 for a one year strong views.
What it does it scans your computer for outdated or missing drivers and allows you to access updated version for up to a year when you subscribe.
Or you can try to do a system restore.
Go to start>>>all programs>>>>>accessories>>>>sy... tools>>>>system restore.
Go through the wizard, and find a date that's contained by bold when your drive last worked.
Did your computer come beside a CD that have drivers on it? Try using that first. It sounds like you delete an ide controller, you can appropriate your computer case stale and write down the model number of your case (or if its a dell or a gateway or any other key manufacturer, only write down that model number) google it and find the drivers that way
