I'm thinking something like partitioning a separate drive for Ubuntu (linux); what if one day I wake up up and want to remove it and just stick solely to Vista? How do partition work? Can I just delete it and restore that extra concrete drive space to my Vista?
Thanks!
DUAL-BOOTING Ubuntu & Vista: What if I renovation my mind?
Yes, you can. Just remove it with a fence editor (which is included in the Ubuntu install cd/iso) delete the Ubuntu screen & resize the windows barrier (ntfs probably) to fill the not in use space.
Ubuntu makes it really uncomplicated, whether you are trying to install it, or remove it.
If it is a different hard drive, purely reformat it, then bowdlerize a file call boot.ini, and remove the pointer to the second OS, however that doesn't remove the designation, from the registry.
For that you need a registry cleaner, approaching Regclean, go to download.com and hunt for one.
I promise you I have the easiest most minuscule technical entity! You can use the application called Wubi. It works only like an installer for Windows you in recent times download the installer and in trun it downloads the Ubuntu ISO its really cool :D
