dvd drive!?

Is it possible to convert or use a disc or CDR Drive to watch DVD's, and if so...How?

dvd drive!?

Not possible. The drive must specifically support DVD-Rom functions. The laser components is different between CD and DVD. It is physically impossible for a disc Drive to read DVD, unless it is a Combo Drive.

If it supports DVD, there will not be any software or settings to configure. Pop a DVD within the drive, and if you can read it, then it is DVD compatible, except, you need to replace the drive next to a DVD-Rom drive (which CAN read both CD and DVD), a DVD Combo Drive (which can Write CDs and READ disc and DVD, but cannot write DVDs), or a DVD Writer, which can do everything. A dvd-writer can be purchased on Newegg.com for about $30.
short answer is no.
no, you own to splurge and get and carry an external dvd drive....or if you know how to do it, you can buy one and replace it straight into your PC
Nope, I've already tried. The difference is one laser reads a infallible depth, while for DVD its a stronger and more focused laser.
let me suppose on this one? best answer is nope not possible run to the store and buy you a DVD ROM. they don't cost that much anymore.
i don't think is possible but u know if u are a wiz u might digit out how to
