Dual Cores and Performance ?

I own installed Pentium D 3.4 Ghz Processor. In what areas should I expect an increase in the system reading ?

In other words, how do I tell that my system perform better with the Dual Core processor ?

Dual Cores and Performance ?

Between single core and dual core, you will see NO difference unless the program is designed to use dual cpus.

And abundant 3d games are not designed to run on dual cpus. You can, however, cheat a little...run window on one core and the game of the other core to bring around 10-20% increase in speed.
Try encoding a video directory ... you will see an amazing increase in production as compared to a single core unit.

For example, use Nero or a similar program to convert an AVI or MPEG to DVD format.

This is mainly for relations used to run video & graphic programs at impossible to tell apart time they use the normal word and internet programs and may try to copy and mash some stuff at same time,, here you will notice the difference
Simple, DUAL CORE PROCESSORS are designed for dual purposes and multiple tasks. Mostly beneficial for ORGANIZATIONAL PURPOSE. So if you are looking for difference between the performance consequently it`s that you can switch between tasks easily and summarily without have your computer system hanging up sor slowing down for some time.

Pleasure to HELP !
