DVDs play fine on internal drive, but not on external burner - why?

I be testing how a DVD (original commercial disc) plays on my external DVD writer and notice the video is very choppy and the nouns skips. I tried the same disc on my internal DVD/CD-RW drive and it is fine. What is the problem? Are these external burners not expected for playing DVDs (the reason i.e. a concern is because my internal drive occasionally will not play DVDs, and recently won't make out blank media). My computer meets adjectives the minimum requirements for the burner. If I should just try another burner, I'd appreciate the direction.

There is nothing wrong beside your DVD external.

Two things you need to check:



1. Your USB should be 2.0. You are connecting your external to USB and the speed is earth-shattering here.



2. You probably do not have adequate memory. Your pics. are choppy because your CPU reads, processes it, channel it thru your memory and it does not have adequate memory to process. There is a bottle neck right nearby, like a traffic preserve. As the data is contained by a que, it spits out slowly. Hence the choppiness. Increase the memory.



You can increase the virtual memory that Windows uses. It will use the hard drive as memory surrounded by a pinch. That depends on your HDD capacity.
